Help System

Help and support are available free by email.  Greater levels of support, for example telephone and interactive desktop support are available by arrangement.  Use of the Find Me 1st software is so simple, that we do not usually find that people need more than a few minutes to familiarize themselves with the various features.

In the event that a client decides to install the devices themselves, we are always happy to provide relevant technical details to their installation personnel.  Of course this sometimes necessitates the signing of a non-disclosure agreement due to the sensitive nature of some of the applications using this product.

Training

There are occasions where even the simplest of packages may seem daunting to new users.  For those people we provide on site training, or regular tuition sessions at our premises at Heathrow.  These sessions are tailor made to suit those attending and may range from simple operation of the software, to the more general methods of integrating this technology into your existing security or operational procedures.

Upgrades

From time to time, the Find Me 1st software undergoes a revamp. Sometimes, new features, suggested by existing customers are included in a new version.  Firmware upgrades to the VTU3000 computer installed in the vehicle may be carried out locally by you, or centrally from our operating center at Feltham.  These upgrades are done “over the air” and so there is no interruption to service.  An online update facility is provided within the Find Me 1st program, and full support is provided for anyone who experiences difficulty in achieving this.

Software Alterations

Occasionally, a client will explain that their particular needs call for something a little different to the software we have on offer.  Under these conditions we are always quite happy to rewrite the software to suit the client’s needs and to provide help and support for the new alterations.

Custom Applications

We are always happy to provide quotations for custom written software, whether or not it incorporates the use of remote telemetry.  Anything from company administration to flow meter analysis can be covered by our software engineers.  Feel free to contact us for a quotation, or simply for an informal chat!

Become a Partner

We are always on the look out for new partners with whom we can team up to further improve the service we offer.  Currently we offer our partner sales companies; whether they are involved in commercial vehicle fleet sales, or small van retailers; 8% of every sale they bring to us!

In this way, not only do we offer a great service to our customers, but our partners gain a valuable extra feature to offer with their vehicles.

Customers

Who would benefit from the Find Me 1st system?

Courier businesses; small and large freight operators; shippers responsible for high value cargo; security patrols; mobile sales force; estate agents; multi-drop delivery personnel- in fact anyone who owns, operates, drives or administrates vehicles or heavy plant can benefit from the Find Me 1st system.

Imagine a world where you know, every minute of the day, where your vehicle is.  Whether it is traveling in Europe or USA, Find Me 1st could be telling you that the driver has just delivered, is on his way back, has broken down or is taking a scheduled (or unscheduled) break.  Additionally, if you think that having a facility to stop or disable the vehicle simply by clicking a button on the screen might be useful… then this is the package for you!

Live Demonstrations

Still not sure?  Why not give us a call. We would be delighted to meet with you at our Heathrow offices and show you the complete package in operation in a “real world” situation. Of course, if this is not convenient, we will quite happily demonstrate our package at a location of your choice.

Seeing is believing, and many of our customers develop their own ideas for telemetry control after witnessing the devices fitted to our vehicles.

Find Me 1st takes the principles used in contemporary fleet management and compresses them into a concise and user friendly suite of security measures, designed to keep your drivers, cargo and assets safe.

Using a set of digital and analogue monitors FMF will report positions and sound alerts where applicable; keep records of events and present all information in a form which the operator is able to process with ease, even if they are new to the software.

We will happily alter our software to suit a particular business solution, and where necessary expand the monitoring facility to a massive 50 channels.  Actions on a vehicle are centrally activated from your premises and may include such things as engine isolation, cargo door locking and perhaps even ejector seats!

With prices starting at 37p/day/vehicle, and no software license fees for small businesses, Find Me 1st represents the best solution in terms of cost and efficiency. Whether you simply want to know where your vehicle is, or complete peace of mind, this system delivers.

Northamptonshire Lorry Hijack

A Polish lorry driver delivering a consignment of televisions and DVDs to Northampton had his vehicle and load hijacked in the early hours of the morning of Friday 24th March 2006 as he slept in his cab. Several suspects climbed into his cab after breaking a window, held him down on his bed and drove away. He was eventually transferred to a van and abandoned in a lay-by on the A58 East Langs Road, Leigh, where he managed to raise the alarm.

His tractor unit is displaying registration plate WORV387, is white and has a picture of a cow on the side of it. The trailer displays WR047J7 and is silver with a Polish address on. Both are still outstanding. Any sightings of the tractor/trailer should be reported to Crimestoppers or TruckPol in confidence.
